MonaIt took about an hour of carefully moving rocks and charred props before Malerie finally found what she was looking for. She gasped. She knew what to expect, but it still made a shiver creep up her spine to look at the metal hand. She stepped back a moment and let her heartbeat slow down some before she moved to a better spot and started shifting a piece of the wall over to the side. She wasn't incredibly strong, but she managed to move it after a few minutes. MonaThere had only been one death. Supposed death at least, but with this place, nothing was ever certain. The place had burned down, allegedly with the night guard still in it. However, there were inconsistencies here that did not escape Malerie's notice. There was no car for one. Why wouldn't the night guard, who the owner confirmed was an adult, drive himself to work? If he truly burned, that was one thing that made no sense. Unless someone else was trying to cover something up. These thoughts certainly made her wonder, but she wasn't a detective, and in her business, she'd found that some questions were better left unanswered. MonaFazbear's Fright it had been called. It didn't even last long enough to open to the public. Not that she or any of her higher ups actually believed this poor attempt at digging up graves (That were best left forgotten) would actually end up going well. Though, Malerie had to be partially thankful that the issue resolved itself after only a little over a week of use. If not, she would've had to take action, which may or may not have been wholly pleasant, for her or the creepy establishment. She had been pleasantly surprised to find out that the former owner wanted to cooperate with her. Then again, he was dealing with his own guilt over the whole incident, so it seemed apparent that he really just wanted to be done with the whole thing.2023-06-06 15:49:38
