Ot.Sayger.//TKDeath Grips never "broke up" or even implied they did. My take is that Death Grips as a level and what they've worked on in their past and how we know them today is what is over and is what they were talking about in the letter (call it Death Grips 1.0 if you will). The song Death Grips 2.0 is a send off to something that they no longer are going to continue to do, it could be the loud style of their sound and maybe The I.L.Y.'s is a sample of what sound is to come on Bottomless Pit. It could be their transparency and relationship with the fans or something of that nature as I believe that is what they mean by saying Death Grips is more than a band (It's an ARG, it's a community, it's a game, it's performance art, it's almost a cult and so much more).2016-08-17 05:33:15
