sexy pantsHey guys, did you know that in terms of male human and female Pokémon breeding, Vaporeon is the most compatible Pokémon for humans? Not only are they in the field egg group, which is mostly comprised of mammals, Vaporeon are an average of 3"03' tall and 63.9 pounds, this means they're large enough to be able handle human ♥♥♥♥♥, and with their impressive Base Stats for HP and access to Acid Armor, you can be rough with one. Due to their mostly water based biology, there's no doubt in my mind that an aroused Vaporeon would be incredibly wet, so wet that you could easily have sex with one for hours without getting sore. They can also learn the moves Attract, Baby-Doll Eyes, Captivate, Charm, and Tail Whip, along with not having fur to hide nipples, so it'd be incredibly easy for one to get you in the mood. With their abilities Water Absorb and Hydration, they can easily recover from fatigue with enough water. No other Pokémon comes close to this level of compatibility.2023-01-03 17:51:12
Brotherman BillIt's got nothing to do with chess, it's just "strategy". Checkers has strategy. Tic tac toe has strategy. Hopscotch has strategy. Alot of things in life have strategy. The Art of War happens to be a very old, very famous Chinese book about strategy. At some point, Japanese businessman started to use it to discuss business strategy, to the point where new hires were expected to read the book to be able to keep up with the conversation at work. It was a fad, and you have to keep up with the Jones's/Yamato's.2021-01-19 20:09:19
Brotherman BillThis coincided with the Japanese economic boom in the 80's (that actually started in the 70's), when hack journalists and fringe economists started cashing on American insecurity and cyncism to say wacky ♥♥♥♥ like "the Japanese yen is going to overtake the US dollar as a global currency". This was not true (clearly) nor was it even likely, but some people in America, probably due to xenophobia, were afraid it was true, so you could get paid to go on television and clutch your pearls about it.2021-01-19 20:09:10
Brotherman BillBecause of this crock being on tv, some people, especially American businessmen and wall street types, took it seriously. They were scared of the Japanese economically, but mistakenly assumed the successful Japanese business model came from the contemporary Japanese fad of forcing everyone in the company who had a business card to read the Art of War. Desperate to "keep up" and maybe even beat the Japanese "at their own game", it became an AMERICAN fad to read the art of war and somehow suss out a way to apply Iron Age military strategy to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stocks and bonds and mergers and acquisitions.2021-01-19 20:08:59
Brotherman BillYou can't really, it's apples and oranges, but because the basic elements of strategy are universal (like keeping a poker face or your cards close to your chest in poker for strategic reasons specific to the game still has value as a maxim for other areas in life where deceiving your opponent and concealing your hand is still important), they accidentally found a way to teach fresh out of college hires the basics about not being a total goober in the business world. You could have acheived roughly the same result with a topic specific smartly worded 50 minute power point, but corporate suits like to feel important and staying on trend by reading a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ translation of "the Art of War" was right up their alley.2021-01-19 20:08:49
Brotherman BillThe truth is, just about any crash course in strategy in any topic is going to prepare you for business as much as the Art of War does. The Art of War simply isn't about business. It's about military strategy. Because it's about strategy, business, which is a strategic venture, can benefit a little by someone wasting a large amount of man hours that could have been spent specifically studying business strategy to instead read a treatise on siege warfare written literally a millennia ago, in a language not even the Chinese speak anymore (the art of War is written in extremely archaic Chinese, even the Chinese versions of it are basically just translations).2021-01-19 20:08:38
Brotherman BillAnything that could be derived about business from the Art of War could similarly be gleaned from just about any book on similar topics, like the Arthshastra (Indian), The Prince (Italian), the Book of Five Rings (Japanese), Clausewitz's "On War" (German), Che Guevara's "Guerilla Warfare" (Spanish), Xenephon's "Anabasis" (Ancient Greek), Strategikon (Byzantine) or just about any other of the many, many, many, MANY books on how to win a war written over the years by various famous mass murderers. Hell, you can even just go watch Rambo.2021-01-19 20:08:29
Brotherman BillThe truth of the matter is, the Art of War is a very difficult read. It lacks alot of historical context that is absolutely vital to understanding it's pieces of advice, it's not always correct, and when it is, alot of it's advice is for a time, place, people and culture that are not just different from our own, it might as well be alien. Many of the pieces of the advice in the Art of War don't even apply to actual war anymore, and where they do apply in modern times, they're often made unessecary by the many ways in which both modern and western culture are just very different from the time period and culture in which Sun Tsu (who probably didn't even exist) allegedley lived.2021-01-19 20:08:19
Brotherman BillYou want to learn about business? Read a book about business. Reading the Art of War is just some stupid fad. It's not any more legitimate just because the Japanese started that fad. There's nothing in the art of war that applies to business, that you couldn't learn from playing a few really tough rounds of Connect Four with a very determined four year old. Of course there's lessons about people and life, but many of those lessons are either wrong, or no longer apply. Reading the Art of War to learn strategy is just stupid. You learn more about strategy watching pro commentary on a Super Smash Brothers prize tournament.2021-01-19 20:08:11
Brotherman BillGo watch Floyd Mayweather v. Manny Pacquio, then you can learn about strategy. Go watch Bill Belichick coach the Pats. Go watch a little kid figure out you can force a draw in tic tac toe by going first and putting a mark in the middle. Strategy is everywhere, you don't need to read a dusty old chinese book articulate the finer points of chariot duels to learn simple lessons like "do your homework about your opponent" and the time honored, jaw dropping enlightened lesson of "if you want to beat someone, exploit their weakness.2021-01-19 20:08:02
Brotherman BillThe Art of War has some limited historical use in teaching actual military strategists something about waging war. You'd have to be a slack jawed idiot not to have already grasped everything in the art of war that can be applied to business just from living your ordinary life. It's a waste of your time to read it, because what person with an MBA isn't also smart enough to know something as simple as "prepare before you fight so you have a better chance of winning".2021-01-19 20:07:50
Brotherman BillThat's not even the heart of what makes the Art of War useful even to Sun Tzu's contemporaries, they already knew that part, they want to learn about more specific stuff like how to properly starve a city during a seige, which has NO VALUE for you or anybody you might know who moves money around. If there is any value, it's the type of forgettable, minuscule value about something simple like "you can starve an opponent by cutting off access to resources" that you could have picked up just by forgetting to water your houseplant.2021-01-19 20:07:37
