KnifeIn case anyone is interested, I had a herniated disc in my lower lumbar region, L4L5. Initial surgery went well, couldn't walk or dress myself for a week. Felt great until I got sick and couldn't walk. Trip to the ER for an MRI showed a nasty bacterial infection, staph non MRSA. A week of IV antibiotics, left hospital with a portable IV pump for another six weeks of continuous antibiotic treatment. Felt great until I tried working after being cleared. Pain so bad I cried daily. Back to ER after another MRI. Epidural spinal infection, staph again, 5 days later I'm out with 3 months of thrice daily IV infusions, more antibiotics through a picc line. September 15th until now, December 3rd, and they kept accusing me of being a heroin addict or seeking pain killers, until they saw the two massive infections. Also, my L2L3 disc herniated during this time. The staff sucked and were indifferent to my pain level.2017-12-03 11:31:27
