ten-six	ah, windows 8 here and that worked for it. First thing I would do i ALT-TAB away from the black screen and see what the error message box says, is it a d3d message like others are reporting or is it something else?	2013-07-19 22:46:25
[col] panopticon	thx for your response pal, however:1- i'm not using W82- i've checked that tutorial before and unnistalled the windows games and the windows redistributable, I just reinstalled the microsoft games from the link of this tutorial, restarted the PC3. i even manually installed the Direct3d setup within the AC support folders and restarted the PC as well.so far nothing,	2013-07-19 22:38:13
ten-six	cd key is used when you log into Games For Windows Live. It will ask you for it. If you are getting the black screen (like i was) try doing this as it worked for me - do exactly as it says: http://steamcommunity.com/app/228400/discussions/0/864958451479618440/	2013-07-19 22:33:03
