Mr.RightThanks. I figured it out already. But I had to also reinstall all usb drivers for my g29 plus the project cars fix, fixed it for me. Just the project cars fix alone was not helping. Also have no idea what is the real problem, probably something wrong with Win10. :D2017-11-02 12:53:00
CialtIf you have Project Cars you could try using in-game calibrating your wheel+pedals in Project Cars. After calibrating start Dirt Rally and you should see advanced wheel options. Worked for me and few others. No idea what's the real issue but it works, so I'm fine with it. There is also few posts in internet about it, although they are difficult to find.2017-11-02 11:56:02

Socks with jandalsi actually suspect its caused by microsoft and its windows 10 forced updates etc.. even though ive disabled hardware updates through windows update it does it anyway, i go to download latest official nvidia driver and find microsoft is already downloading and trying to install their own version of the graphics driver which really pisses me off. im sick of windows 10 and its auto updates and windows store bs... anyway, thanks heaps for the reply/ your help :)p.s - rick and morty season 3! yay, finally. its been a really long wait. hope they put some more interdimensional tv in there soon2017-09-09 22:47:47
Socks with jandalsyeah this issue sucks. i bought the wheel 90% for dirt rally and now its the one game it doesnt work in (although strangely i lauched dirt 4 and non of the pedals/ steering etc worked and i had to re assign all controls, but then it worked.. still no go in dirt rally, but i will try calibrating in project cars then. but i must say im not too confident it will work... but if it worked for you and others, there has to be something in it, so fingers crossed.. ive also heard it helps to disable nvidia shadowplay, or unninstall geforce experience.. and now i think about it i did just install a new graphics card just before this started happenning?... i used DDU in safe mode to completely remove old drivers though... i wish logitech/ nvidia/ codemasters/ microsoft could get to the bottom of this once and for all.2017-09-09 22:47:42
CialtGot it fixed actually! First I tried removing that G29 device and all it's software then reinstalling it all. Worked for awhile but then lost it again. Seems that the "project cars" fix did it for me. It didn't work at first but I tried it later and it works. Also my friend had same issue, tho even tho he did project cars fix, his solution isnt permanent. He still gets that no advanced settings.2017-09-09 01:29:37
Socks with jandalsyo, i saw your post about dirt rally detecting g29 as gamepad + no advanced wheel setting etc. i had the same problem and literally spent hundreds of hours trying to fix it, gave up and reinstalled windows which meant having to reinstall/setup alot of software, and my windows store games had to all be redownloaded and installed (thanks microsoft you dirty f%^ks) anyway, reinstalling windows fixed it, then a few weeks later had the same problem but fixed it with a recent system restore point i am now 3 months later faced with the exact same damn problem (i think its caused by accidentally leaving your xbox 360 or similar controller turned on in game) i have tried fixing it and again no luck, i have tried windows restore but its not working either.. did you ever have any luck with it on your end? if you found a solution i would love to hear it... cheers :) p.s - i cant get system restore to work so i am potentially faced with another full windows/ apps/games/software reinstall....2017-09-09 00:47:22
