GarlicWaffleI also cant wait for the third game! I really liked how many biomes were in the first and the cyclops, but below zero was definitely more refined with less bugs (no more falling through the floor of the Aurora lol)2022-08-29 22:10:34
xChristianoI actually like Below Zero, but I know some people didn't like it, at least compared to the original game. The map's smaller and more jam-packed with stuff while the original game had a much bigger & spread out map. It kinda made the world feel more alive, and the environments definitely looked prettier IMO & were really unique (not that the original game is ugly, it has great biomes too), it also helps that it has better graphics than the older game. It's more of that same Subnautica gameplay, with an interesting story tied into it, though I was hoping there would be more to the story content aside from the small number of shorter missions/objectives. It's more like a DLC, but the ending was still definitely really cool. The game also introduced a bunch of QoL features which is nice, and UnknownWorlds visibly built upon the original mechanics. GarlicWaffleHi fantasychica37! You finish "Now where were we" by first getting the portal gun and the cube to the big room with the laserfield, tractor beam, and goo, which it sounds like you have already done, and then use tractor beam (which always stays on) to get the cube to the button on the ceiling. A door on the other side of the goo should open. You then have to jump into the goo, which does not harm you for some reason, and swim to the other side using a passage under the water. Once you get through the door, you should come across two more doors. Take the one on the right, because the other one will trap you and make you do it all over again. Then you should reach the end! I was wondering if you ever figured out how to get to the end- I solved the chamber with the goo and the tractor beam and have b een walking around ever since!
