Squad is really complicated, there is lots of strategy, it involves planning, communication, team work and luck. As the game says "Communication, collaboration and conquering". I didnt SL until I had 100 hours in the game. There is a lot to learn and only through practice and time committed to the game can someone become a good player. You did well today SL'ing after just 20 hours, but I wouldn't say you are a good player yet, still a newbie like driving on main roads and hitting mines, but with time and effort, if you continue to play you will undoubtedly become competent.
