Getting rid of bones in the spriter file fixes the layering. | Goat Slice | Long time no see @Mr. Batty Twist Unfortunately, a lot of issues like this can be chalked up to the compiler vs spriter. Both, while useful, are archaic and have a tendency to break your final result. I'd say try to break it back if you can. Good luck!If you've ever exported an animation and notice they always export in spriter on certain keyframes (34..67..00), I'd recommend using the same keyframe layout. Not necessary but it makes a difference for certain timings.Two other options for this I can see; right clicking the sprite and just copying its z-order to all frames. Or, I've seen this in official anims a lot, replace the sprites for the duration they're in that new z-order with new ones in said order. | 2022-02-11 13:35:07 |

(And they're all super smooth, btw. I've never even animated before.)How have you managed to change the z-orders of sprites, and have it *actually* working properly in game. For example, a character's hand going over their face/torso would involve you changing the z-order of the sprite in the animation file. (Since the hands are normally behind those sprites in the z-order.)Whenever I try to do that none of the sprites actually move up in the z-order when I play the animation in-game, despite it looking perfect in Spriter?Is it something with animation Bones in Spriter? I've been using it to group sprites together, but apparently the devs don't use Bones in their stuff like AT ALL. | im stuck my ass is too huge | I've done some testing with the API skins mod and i've found that if i have it enabled, i'm auto given a BLU skin of the character, i'm not sure if it's because i chose BLU before this new update to DST or not but i hope that in the future the mod is fixed so you can chose between the skins.P.S. i'm very excited to see what you do with classes like Demoman, Soldier, Sniper, Heavy and Pyro!I love the work you and your team do for these mods and i hope you continue with making these.This community needs you guys, and there hasn't been a day that's gone by without someone giving thanks to this wonderful team of modders.
