Valve sometimes packs .nav files into their tf2_misc_0**.vpk files in the 'tf' directory, meaning that they override any .nav within your 'maps' directory or 'custom' directory. The only way to get around this is to pack your .nav file into a .vpk (using Crowbar software) and place it into your 'custom' directory.It's an unfortunate side-effect of how Valve distributes game content, but only a limited number of maps have this issue. My best advice is, before creating your own nav mesh for a map, make a minor change somewhere, then use the nav_analyze command... if your change reverts, that means the .nav file is packed into one of those tf2_misc_0**.vpk files! | 2022-12-19 19:30:00 |
