AncapikittyI found out something out that's important related to my case of getting scammed on Steam and Discord; The SteamRep forum community only cares about cases that is based on Steam alone. Which is a bit of a let down, because they're very good at warning people about the Valve Impersonators. AncapikittyHere's an update on my findings. A SteamRep forums administrator has said that most of these scammers use image editing tools to make it look like your Steam profile is on a pending ban status when it actually isn't. AncapikittyI'm currently trying to look up information as to how the fake Valve Employee Alden got it to make it look like my Steam account was pending on being banned. Was the real Alden's Steam account hacked? Or was the screenshot the fraudster gave me something that's photoshopped? I'm hoping to know, so I will be able to share what I find out on my gaming channel. The more we know, the easier it would be to avoid these scams in the near future.2020-09-19 19:54:14

AncapikittyIf there's anybody contacting you directly on either Steam chat or on Discord claiming to be Alden, one of the Valve employees here on Steam, that individual is trying to scam you. Hopefully, the Discord account of the fraudster I reported gets suspended and deleted. Although, the same scammer may be using other accounts, so be wary of that.2020-09-18 11:27:20
