TF2 doesn't seem to be abandoned or dead, it's still going strong with the casual flaws being the only thing that makes it a bit broken.VALVE definitely seems to have taken the "Indie without Indie" approach of companies like Team17, but that's not all that bad, it's annoying and frustrating at worst., and really TF2 community really could use some learning, but at least the game's functional and has more than one way and the community is mostly weird by definition, not stooping down to the GMOD levels of previous time insanity. The Detonator is probably superior to the Thruster, but I've caught enough Super Scouts that passed through with the Thruster to be able to say that it's good.Also being able to jetpack to the very top of Mannhattan (as opposed to the upper stairs with the Detonator), fly behind the enemies from the Dispenser or retreat somewhat easily to safety is cool.
