kytharn | Would it be possible for you to create a mod for the rifles? I find the progression of weaponry very linear. There should be some effort made to ensure that all rifles remain relevant subject to the play style of the player. The player should have the option to research to improve the current weaponry or go up a tier. Say for example, ballistics when fully upgraded could have higher crit damage/ armor piercing, laser has the possibility to burn, magnetic has the possibility to disorient and perhaps coil and plasma have the possibility to stun and panic respectively.
